The Ajax Hub is the smart brain of your security system. This is the central unit and ensures communication between all components of the Ajax Alarm System, such as sensors, sirens, and control panels. Available Ajax hubs are the Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus, or Hub 2 4G.
The Ajax Hub forms the heart of every Ajax Alarm System. Without this component, the system will not work. You register all components on this device and communicate with it. As soon as a sensor detects movement or a door opens, the hub immediately sends a notification to your smartphone via the Ajax app.

Different versions of the Ajax Hub
Ajax Hub 2: suitable for most homes and offices. Supports photo verification via MotionCam.
Ajax Hub 2 Plus: offers dual communication (Ethernet, WiFi and 2G/3G/LTE dual sim) and is ideal for larger premises or business applications. Please note, 2G should not be used in the Netherlands. It can still be used in Belgium. Supports photo verification.
Ajax Hub 2 4G: Communicates via Ethernet and/or 4G (Dual sim) with extra reliability in case of fixed network failure. Supports photo verification.
All hubs can be easily connected to Ajax accessories such as sirens, sensors, control panels and panic buttons for a complete security system.
Installation and configuration of the Ajax Hub
The installation of an Ajax Hub is simple. With the Ajax appyou add all devices via QR codes, after which they automatically connect to the hub. This allows you to set up a professional security system within minutes, without technical knowledge.
The Ajax Hub continuously monitors the status of all connected devices. In case of tampering, signal loss, or low battery, the hub immediately sends a warning to your smartphone.

What is the difference between the Ajax Hub 2 and Hub 2 Plus?
The Hub 2 Plus offers more communication options (Ethernet, WiFi and 2G) and is suitable for larger installations or professional applications. Please note that 2G is being phased out in the Netherlands. For the Netherlands, choose a 4G.
Can I use multiple hubs in one system?
No, one hub per system is sufficient. However, you can link multiple hubs within the app to manage different locations.
How does the Ajax Hub connect to the internet?
